Antijamming
The bedrock of any autonomous drone flight currently relies heavily on accurate, reliable and timely GPS or GNSS data to achieve the mission objective. It is no wonder that it has become increasingly important to protect drones from any jamming interference – either from accidental sources, or from those with malicious intent.
The Thales Anti-Jamming module filters out unwanted GPS / GNSS signals and allows users to assess the threat level of the jammer. The user friendly design can easily be integrated with a wide variety of drones, giving users the assurance that the mission will be executed safely and successfully.
Geocaging
As more and more locations are gazetted to be No-Fly Zones (NFZs), users have to take greater care to ensure that their drones do not enter these restricted areas. The Thales Geocaging module provides a standalone geo-fencing system to help to keep drones within a flight restricted cage. Users will be able to get advanced alerts if the drone approaches any of the cage limits. For enhanced protection, users can further integrate a Flight Termination System (FTS), such as a parachute, with the Geocaging module and be assured that they can continue their drone flights safely and securely.
Remote ID
As the number of drones used globally increases, so too does the need to track all the flight activity safely and securely within regulated airspaces. Remote ID provides a remote identification and tracking system by sharing height, location and unique identification information to both users and regulatory bodies. Crucially, the system can be used with any drone model thus allowing users to adhere to the respective authorities such as EASA and FAA.
